Online shopping site Woot! has to be a great place to work. After being acquired by Big Daddy Amazon, the company created a video press release and posted it on YouTube, featuring a rapping monkey extolling the virtues of its new parent (S3 and new furniture among the perks), but promising it would operate as a separate entity and keep its same old feel.
Will video press releases become a main stay for corporate PR departments? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, this is one worth watching. The company also released the news on its blogs for those of us who don't have 3 minutes to spare.
