Based in the New York office, Stefanie Meyers is responsible for Starz’s digital/OTT distribution business, utilizing her in-depth understanding of the media industry and competitive television landscape to build a strategic vision to maximize Starz’s subscriber and revenue growth. She negotiates and executes Starz's digital distribution, platform and device deals and oversees Starz’s digital distribution partner marketing. She also supports Starz’s business development initiatives.
Meyers joined Starz in 2015 as senior counsel and previously served as vice president of business and legal affairs, acquisition and affiliate distribution where she was responsible for negotiating and drafting Starz’s video distribution, technology integration and marketing agreements. She also provided legal and strategic support to the executive, sales, business development, content acquisition and operations teams. This included supporting original programming and studio license agreements.

All of them – it’s the benefit of my job!
What are your favorite shows you’re watching in 2020?
I’m looking forward to the return of “Vida” on STARZ. Yes, shameless self-promotion, but it really is a wonderful show and some of the best queer representation I’ve seen on TV. I’m also looking forward to the return of “Killing Eve” and “Peaky Blinders.”
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Every year has brought new challenges and things to learn so it’s hard to pick a single moment. The highlight for me is working in an industry during this incredible inflection point of change and for a company that is responding to that change in ways that continue to serve its viewers.
What’s next for you in terms of new challenges in streaming TV?
With all of the incredible content available through so many platforms and channels, I think the next challenge will be efficiently surfacing the right content to the right viewers. Personalized, efficient discovery of relevant content will be the next challenge for streaming TV.
