Premium channel Epix has become the latest direct-to-consumer streaming service to hop aboard Amazon Channels, the company’s aggregation hub for subscription services.
Epix, which is owned by Metro Goldwyn Mayer, will still be priced at $5.99-per-month on Amazon Channels.
“Working with Amazon to make Epix programming available on Prime Video Channels continues to build on the momentum we’ve created over the last several months,” said Michael Wright, president at Epix, in a statement. “Having our network launch in time for subscribers to watch our new series ‘Perpetual Grace, LTD’ is a great moment of awareness and growth for our channel.”

We’re thrilled to build on our growing distribution with another important partner today,” said Monty Sarhan, executive vice president and general manager at Epix, in a statement.
Epix has spent a lot of energy over the past calendar year expanding its distribution. Last summer the company officially arrived on Comcast nearly 10 years after the channel first launched.
Since then Epix launched its own direct-to-consumer streaming service, Epix Now, for $5.99 per month, added support for Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, and launched on DirecTV (with DirecTV Now soon to follow.)
