TvStartup debuts OTT video management platform

TvStartup is debuting the next version of its OTT platform to help video and audio creators launch and monetize online TV channels.

The latest is a new all-in-one video management system, called Video CMS Software, which is being showcased at NAB in Las Vegas this week.

While serving the broadcast community, TvStartup touts itself as the number one channel provider to Roku, powering 1,500 custom SDK channels on the platform alone. Its new platform is built for content creators, both indie and broadcasters to reach large audiences on popular platforms, such as Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and iOS and Android devices.

The platform enables broadcasters to turn content into OTT channels, with streaming and on-demand content managed in a single dashboard.

Specifically, the new video CMS software includes features for direct monetization – such as automated and custom ads, subscriptions, and pay-per-view for ad-supported, premium subscription and freemium approaches. It offers custom live streaming, such as on-screen overlays, collaborative features, custom logos, and restreaming capabilities.  The platform supports 24-7 scheduled programming with capabilities for flexible ad insertion, as well as one-click multiple platform distribution to branded OTT apps like those mentioned earlier, along with social and web destinations. Other features include video-on-demand categories for video libraries full support for audio-on-demand and audio streaming and turn-key multi-platform publishing including syncing all streaming and on-demand content directly to custom branded OTT apps.

"We've truly made this entire system with the creator in mind," says Brock Fisher, CEO at TvStartup. "Everything you could possibly need to build, manage, and monetize an online video channel is now in one place, giving all creators easy access to large audiences and providing the best experience for their viewers."

Making it easier for content creators to launch ad-supported channels is one aim of a new platform launched earlier this month by Endeavor Streaming and Frequency, with a one-stop-shop that combines both companies services.
