Verizon next week will begin extending its Disney Bundle streaming promotion beyond wireless to home internet subscribers.
Starting Feb. 11, new Verizon Fios Internet customers will get the Disney Bundle—which includes Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu priced at $13.99 per month—for up to 12 months free. The deal kicks in on March 9 for new Verizon 5G Home Internet subscribers.
The provider had previously been packaging either six months or one year of Disney+ along with its 5G Home and 5G Home Plus plans, which also through in a Verizon’s Android TV-based streaming box and free access to AMC+.
For Verizon, the deal could help keep the momentum going for its fixed wireless business. During the fourth quarter, the company 78,000 new fixed wireless subscribers and brought its total up to 228,000, while Fios Internet growth slowed somewhat.

For Disney, it provides another push for the Disney bundle. In December, Disney raised the price of Hulu + Live TV to $69.99 per month but threw in Disney+ and ESPN+ to complete the Disney Bundle along with the already included Hulu SVOD service.
While Verizon’s traditional video subscriber base continues to shrink—it lost another 281,000 residential video subscribers in 2021—the company has increasingly focused on the third-party content partnerships it uses to sweeten deal for its wireless and broadband customers.
Verizon’s Mix & Match offering features YouTube TV as a prominent linear video option for its customers and the provider also has deals in place to give out extended free trials of Discovery+, Apple Music and other streaming services.
