Another theory on who stays, who goes at NBCU

While speculation about who will run what at NBC Universal is hotter than a fireman's fevered dreams these days, TheWrap thinks it has the whole scene covered with a scenario in which NBCU Television Chairman Jeff Gaspin "has not been informed that he will depart" but would not have much to rule if he remains.

In TheWrap's view of the new NBCU, a half-dozen division heads will report directly to Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) COO Steve Burke when he takes over the operations, including former Showtime entertainment prexy (that's cool programming talk there) Bob Greenblatt who will run NBC entertainment and Bonnie Hammer as president of NBC Universal Cable.

As for Gaspin, he "could manage NBC's local station group," the news site suggests.
