Bezos calls Amazon's Fire Phone 'bold bet,' says company will keep trying

Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) CEO Jeff Bezos defended the company's first smartphone, the Fire phone, as a "bold bet" that has not yet paid off, but is part of a culture of experimenting and risk taking at the retail and commerce giant.
