Hybrid TV and connected home specialist Entone is partnering with Anevia, a French company that provides video streaming solutions and service infrastructure for live TV and video on demand, to help service providers fast-track offering subscribers more compelling next-gen TV services.
The partnership will integrate Anevia's ViaMotion over the top solutions with Entone's Hybrid TV devices and media hubs. Anevia offers a range of IP video streaming solutions for live and VoD content over managed IP networks as well as the Internet. Entone's Hybrid TV devices and media hubs enable operators to deliver a TV service that blends traditional linear TV programming with innovative cloud-based media and applications.
Adopting OTT solutions as a value-added proposition for subscribers can help reduce churn and also monetize content, said Morsy Cheikhrouhou, VP of Global Sales at Anevia. "The integration with Entone enables operators to immediately deploy multi-screen solutions for further lucrative business opportunities using Anevia's ViaMotion OTT solutions," Morsy said.
