Verizon Wireless (NYSE:VZ) and its cable MSO marketing partners may no longer be developing joint innovations, but Verizon is continuing to increase its own investments in next-gen technology. FierceWireless had a chance to tour the newly-renovated Verizon Wireless Innovation Center in San Francisco this week. The center first opened in July 2011 and aims to help small businesses increase their knowledge in the areas of cloud computing, security, telematics and RF signaling.
