Net Insight adds 5 partner firms to help grow business

LAS VEGAS--Broadcast and IP transport solutions specialist Net Insight, which has been focusing its efforts on growing its business by adding partner companies, today announced it has added new partners in Latin America, Europe and Africa.

The Swedish company also said it increased indirect sales to 38 percent in 2010, from 34 percent a year earlier.

Net Insight says it now counts 40 companies as partners.

Anders Persson, EVP and head of development for the company, said the growth in Latin America was expected to continue.

"We're obviously very strong in Europe, but growth in areas like Latin America is very important to us," Persson told FierceIPTV.

To that end, the company said it was partnering with Taltech International, which has a strong presence in Latin America, to deepen Net Insight's presence there. TalTech will focus on CATV, given Latin America expects strong growth in this sector.

Net Insight said it also had added DIEM Technologies, Broadcast & Installation Engineering-Net Insight's first South African partner-- Video Broadcast S.A in Peru, and AT Logistics in Colombia.

Net Insight says its products deliver 100 percent QoS with three times improvement in utilization of bandwidth for a converged transport infrastructure.
