SeaChange and Concurrent partner up to bag video services client

Video tech companies SeaChange International and Concurrent Computer Corp. have teamed up to provide software and content delivery network technologies to what they term as a "leading" North American video services provider.

Along with its own Adrenalin multiscreen video software, SeaChange says it will resell Concurrent's UpShift unified content delivery solution and object storage.

Upshift will be integrated into the latest release of Adrenalin.

Earlier this year SeaChange announced that it was laying off 10 percent of its staff due to a slowdown in the profitability of some of its core products.  By teaming with Concurrent, the company is hoping to capture more business by providing an end-to-end platform to customers that want to launch IP video services and applications like cloud DVR and more.
