They're not even officially joined at the hip yet and already NBC and Comcast are exhibiting the types of "synergies" that are so often touted as reasons for big mergers.
The two have announced a relationship where viewers of NBC's Dateline shows can log onto Comcast's Tunerfish social media application and share the fact that they're watching the show and helping to solve a crime mystery. Doing so earns the viewer a coveted "Dateline Detective" profile badge.
