TVE buildout goes on: FiOS Mobile app adds 5 Fox channels, TWC TV hits Xbox One

Continuing to complete an infinitely complex web of multiscreen rights deals that probably should have happened several years ago, Verizon (NYSE: VZ), Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) and HBO all announced key TV Everywhere agreements Tuesday.

Five Fox Networks channels have been enabled for out-of-home viewing on Verizon's FiOS mobile app, with FiOS pay-TV customers now able to authenticate live watching of FX HD, FXX HD, FX Movie Channel, National Geographic Channel HD and Nat Geo Wild HD.

The FiOS mobile app now supports out-of-home viewing for 93 channels.

Time Warner Cable, meanwhile, announced the long-anticipated debut of its TWC TV multiscreen app for Xbox One. Beginning Wednesday, TWC video customers will be able to authenticate 7,000 free and subscription on-demand titles on the Microsoft gaming device.

Separately, the HBO Go app is now available for Sony's PlayStation 4.
