Google, NFL reportedly discuss Sunday Ticket package

The NFL's Sunday Ticket package of out-of-market games has reportedly caught the interest of Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) and its YouTube online video site. Executives from the Mountain View, Calif.-based Internet giant reportedly met with NFL officials recently to discuss, among other topics, the Sunday Ticket package. The league agreement with DirecTV (Nasdaq: DTV) to deliver those games to subscribers is set to expire after the 2014 season. Peter Kafka at AllThingsD has the story. Read more
