Interactive ad company Innovid anticipates more funding this year

ATLANTA--In-stream video ad company Innovid, which last week announced a partnership with video ad network Tremor Media to offer advanced interactive pre-roll ads across Tremor Media's publisher network, says it anticipates a second round of funding this year.

Innovid launched its product 18 months ago after some two years of development. Co-founder and CEO Zvika Netter said the company has been actively selling the platform, which offers clients a way to create interactive video advertising across multiple devices and platforms, for the past year, adding that some 2,000 publishers currently have access to the technology. Initially funded by VC company Genesis, Netter said he expected a second round soon.
