Verizon has quietly integrated Netflix into its Fios pay TV set tops.
As this Netflix support page indicates, Netflix is available on select Fios set-top devices, including the IPC1100P2 and IPC1100P1 client, as well as the VMS1100 DVR.
“Most devices are capable of streaming Netflix in high definition on fast internet connections and will play Netflix in their maximum supported resolution,” the page indicated.
Verizon didn’t immediately respond to Fierce’s inquiry for comment.

Experiencing relatively moderate pay TV customer losses in recent quarters—Fios lost 18,000 video users in the third quarter—Verizon is making investments in its video platform to fend off cord cutting.
Over the summer, Verizon began testing an overhauled version of its Fios TV service, offering customers participating in the test a free year of triple-play service.
"You’re invited to be part of a select group of consumers to participate in a trial of some of our newest in-home entertainment features," said an email Verizon sent to select Fios customers, intercepted by DSLReports. "This is a unique opportunity to test-drive these exciting new TV features in advance of general availability to the public.”
“Yes, we are currently testing new advanced TV features with a select group of employees and customers,” Verizon spokesman Raymond McConville told FierceCable. “We don’t have any additional information to share right now.”
Meanwhile, Netflix integration has emerged as a fairly common strategy among leading pay TV operators, who used to take a more combative approach to the leading OTT platform.
Most of the top cable operators now integrate Netflix natively on their set-tops, for example.
